Product information
Butyl rubber consists of polyisobutylene material and is used as primary sealant in IG-glass production.
Application
Extrusion temperature between +100°C and +130°C (+212°F and +266°F). Surfaces to be sealed must be sound, dry,
clean and free of oil, grease, laitance, rust and other foreign material that would prevent proper adhesion. The
environment temperature should not be lower than 10°C (50°F) in application.
